Ayr Racecourse

Ayr Racecourse which runs a full programme of meetings each year is only 15 minutes by car or around 20 by bus which goes door to door from Ardwell.

Ayr, described as Scotland's premier racecourse, hosts both Flat and National Hunt fixtures. Important events are the Scottish Grand National in April and the Ayr Gold Cup in September.
